To celebrate the start of 2014, I thought that it would be appropriate for this Nail’d It post to be themed around the Pantone color of the year. Every year, Pantone surveys graphic/industrial/fashion designers, manufacturers, and retailers around the world to find out what color they will be using the most in the upcoming seasons. This year, Pantone’s color of choice is a pink- purple mix called Radiant Orchid, which has already been seen popping up in beauty, fashion, home decor, and house hold items and appliances.
The Radiant Orchid color has been getting mixed reviews because it’s a mixture of two colors, but I definitely think that it’s a home run because it’s a combination of my two favorite colors.
